Leo Powell founded Powell Advisory Group with the vision of sharing the knowledge and expertise he earned over 30 years around 96 countries to help governments and organisations addressing challenges in their quest to improve peoples lives.
His initial career began in the Law Enforcement sector where he established a firm grasp of the “Rule of Law” and more so the intricate relationship between the Security and Justice sectors. He then joined the United Nations in the early 90's and broadened his educational and professional experience in the fields of Counter-Intelligence, Counter-Terrorism, Counter-Narcotics, Threat and Risk Assessment and High-Level Investigations to just name a few of the functions he carried out around the world. In doing so he served the roles of Protection Specialist, Trainer, Security Coordinator, Chief of Security, Advisor at many levels and Senior Advisor in the Middle East and Latin America.
At the early age of 46, he peaked in his international profession, resigned early in his career and founded Powell Advisory Group along with Integrated Security Solutions, providing Security and Safety industry advice and solutions to Governments, Industries, Large and Small Business and Residential Clients globally.
